Any suggestion for a good amp under $100?
I have two cheap amps a E10K and a uDAC3, will they be ok? or do I desprately need a decent upgrade to give the K7xx justice?
don't.....if you must...use the fiio e10k...they can drive the k7xx, just don't expect to hear clear, pristine sound.....but if you want to get a amp go for the o2 amp just 135$....or you can even go schiit magni(99$)(it does get toasty tho). Don't waste your cash.
i didn't read the under 100$.....best amp under hundred is definitely the magni...just like i said....i does heat up(like every other schiit amp).
Thank you for the info! I've heard a few people saying o2 or a schiit vali. I'll definitely choose between those two. Cheers!
isn't the schiit vali over hundred ? ....anyway....i hope you know its a tube amp.....and they do add quite a lot of color+ most tube amps have much higher distortion than solid state....consider these facts before you splurge.
Dragonfly black. I know it looks like just a USB stick, but I can't recommend it enough. Its 1.2v output is more than enough and its resolution is incredible. Don't screw around with tubes if you don't know what you're doing. Its basically ancient technology that people kick around for some reason. We used tubes when we didn't have solid state transistors. There's no reason for a beginner to get one, not even much reason for a long time enthusiast, just variety.
thanks dominica and Tchshppe, I'll stay away from tubes. SSD it is then. Cheers
i don't think the DFB can drive the k7xx....the DFR definitely but not the DFB. so if going for usb dacs i think DFR will be nominal.
+ 1 on that...micca origen will drive k7xx well....although most head-fiers see it as 'meh'....zeos thinks its a fucking steal....and i'll go with zeos's opinion any day
Yep, talked to him about it and he said it was the way to go
Haven't had a single issue, besides the software. but after you install it the first time just dont unplug it.
10/10 would buy again
