I just received my K7XX today and I must say that I'm impressed with the packaging and presentation. I know these aren't manufactured and packaged in Austria, but if I'm getting the same sound signature and comfort as the higher priced version, while having to sacrifice a little build quality to save a couple hundred bucks, I'll take it in a heartbeat. The build quality of the K7XX is perfectly fine and they look fantastic! They could be the most comfortable and light fitting headphones I've ever worn and they certainly are among the headphones in my small collection. It's too early to comment on the sound but my initial impression is quite good. I have little doubt that these will sound better and better as time goes on. I'll certainly be giving them a good amount of listening with my Creative E5. I'll report back after I give them a good testing. I'm late to the party and received serial number 013889.

ZingzaliaOh, thanks God. I don't dislike bass, but i preffer detail over bass. Obviously, i don't like having no bass, but i just like detail more than it.
Right now i'm using my only headset for music, it being the HyperX Cloud IIs and meh, they don't have much bass, but they're okay for listening till the K7XXs show up. I think there'll be a massive difference in sound quality, right?

ZingzaliaWell, just today i got a tracking update saying that it has been exported to my country and i received a tracking link for my local post. The tracking code still doesn't work on the local post website, meaning that the package isn't in my country yet. I'd say next week or even this one, but i don't know what way it's coming. If it's coming by train, then there are good chanches it will take more time as trains in Romania are the worst thing in the universe. But next week i'd say it's pretty accurate.

ZingzaliaYeah, the Customs taxes and VAT...for me it's gonna be something around $40 too. and yeah, will still be worth it. I hope so bad it will arrive until 22th of April when it's my birthday...that's why i got them actually, for my bday. I already got the amp and DAC for more than two weeks, they're more ready than ever.

erickongThank you! I'm fighting as hard as I can to keep hope alive. Listening to audio with awesome cans like the K7XX help me get through some tough times. After quite a bit of listening, I'm blown away by these beauties! Full and rich sound in all areas and they feel like pillows resting over my ears. I can wear them all day and at the end of the day they feel the same as they do when I first put them on. :-)

nRaduHave you received your pair yet? After a lot of listening, I am blown away by these cans! The sound, fit, and comfort are very nice. Plus, they look beautiful even though they aren't that Austrian manufactured version. I handle all my headphones very carefully and these will continue to look brand new day by day. Definitely one of my best purchases and they're easily worth $400+ dollars. I may have got lucky and got mine in the final drop for the K7XX unless they bring them back in the future.

TaaDowToday they arrived in my town and I talked to a guy yesterday when i did all the papers and shit and he told me that if everything's going fine, i'll have them tomorrow. And I assume that that's how's gonna be, the last tracking update being "In Transit" Departed from BSI Bucharest (which is the sorting center here and I assume (from what i read online) that it's coming at my door.)

TaaDowThis high quality 5N OCC silver plated 4 foot cable took a while to get to me in the United States from China but the wait was worth it! It even comes with a plastic protective cap over the 3.5mm tip. I was able to twist tie up the long stock cable and put it back in the box. This cable bends so freely and feels a little like metal. There's no springiness to it at all. It's very light and it looks great! It's not cheap but it's not too expensive. $37.90 on eBay at the link below. I highly recommend it, and once again, I absolutely LOVE the awesome K7XX! :-)

TaaDowI also got this awesome nylon 6 foot cable for $24.95 at the eBay link below. It's not as high quality as the silver plated cable but it looks and sounds great. It has no springiness to it whatsoever and the nylon braiding is done very well. The cable has a good weight to it.

PhinwehYeah, they were available almost the full month of march and they shipped at the end of every day. I paid mine on 24th and at the end of the day they got shipped. For those who didn't get the K7XXs, look for other pairs of headphones on Massdrop, compare everything with everything and get what you desire. I've been wanting to make a video explaining everything you need to know about headphones and Massdrop headphones, with everything in between, but just didn't have the required time to make a video. Hopefully this week i'll be able to. I'll post it here when it will be done, but if anyone has any question, hit me up on Twitter (@RaduNenu) or on Discord (Swift#7085) and i'll try to get you the best information i can.
