I lost my 1/8 > 1/4 adapter. Can someone recommend me a replacement? Or better yet, a cable that has the 1/4 adapter already hardwired. Thanks!

Refurbished K7XX Red and black are now available for $160, not sure if that is a good price or not. Any experience with Drop refurbs/ B-stock?

MasarakshIn my opinion it's a pretty lousy price given that there's no warranty and what you actually receive is a crapshoot. They are asking close to the same price as the new ones. Instead of bringing back something that sold close to 20K pairs, Drop is more content to just be the US distributor of crappy items from AliExpress. Hint, if Drop describes something as "taking things to a new level" that's your clue that it's most likely junk.

I hope someone here can help me. After a couple of years owning these K701's I am finally sitting down with them, but I'm already having an issue with the fit. They're just too large for my head. The bottoms of the pads are on my face but the tops barely touch, so no chance of a good seal. Is there any tricks with these to get them to fit better for smaller heads? Thanks for any help.

trog69Eat Twinkies for every meal for the next 90 days. As you put on weight some it will appear in your face causing the headphones to fit much better

great headphones but right ear keeps going .. very disappointing for a product this expensive to last 1-2 years

sdejWhen one or even both of the speakers in the AKG K7XX headphones are cutting out or just not working, it may not always be an issue with the cord, it's usually an easy fix. Just take a look at this video on YouTube to learn how to disassemble and repair your headphones easily. https://youtu.be/nDZb8fmhVt8

Can anyone confirm the type of wire used? I'm pretty illiterate about these things so it might be an obvious answer...but I don't know it, haha. The right headphone is on the fritz and it seems to be plug in to the headset itself as i can get it working after fiddling with it enough.

SonicCheetahFound a replacement cord, unfortunately it is the headset itself. Lasted a month shy of 4 years, so i guess that is an ok run

filipduartethey can't. The part of AKG that made audiophile products in Austria is no more, Samsung closed them. Even k612 and k712 etc are hard to find now.
