I've owned mine for almost 4 years and they're still in perfect condition. Original pads started to harden up a little so they got uncomfortable, so I switched the pads. At their price point you can't go wrong with them. Really good headphones for a starter for the price range. I'd recommend using a decent interface with them. They are really comfortable to wear, they have very slim clamp force but still stay on your head.
I owned this for nearly 4 years and the cable is just starting to fail on me. The quality of the product surprised me and the audio quality is amazing. Almost no clamp force yet it stays securely on my head. I found they're the best I could get for the price but now I move up to the Senheiser HD6XX.
If you want a good pair of headphones for this price, these are it with an amp, without one they are only decent. I've upgraded to HD6xx so these never see anymore action.
I’ve owned these babies for more than a year. I was running them off the Massdrop O2 amp for a couple months. I’ve since “upgraded” to Sennheiser HD6XX, Hifiman HE400i, and the THX AAA 789 amp. I was considering selling these off, but before I did I brought them out for a couple more days of listening on the THX. They are great sounding phones - comfortable with crips highs. Transient response is fast, so there is good impact from kick drums. I was generally impressed. The only downside is the bass is a bit light, I’d say 3 db (1/2 power) down from the mids and highs. With hindsight I would have been better to wait for the HD6XX or HE400i, which I love a lot. But I think I will gift or sell them to an audiophile on a tighter budget.
100% the best quality at this price point. My only problem is the bass frequency gives me a headache. I haven't had this problem with anything else including my HD1's which have a decent response range.
I consider myself as an audiophile, I play guitar and listen to music all day at work (computer design). I think these are great headphones for the price, audio and build quality are par with headphones 2x the price. The cord and ear pads are replaceable and easily found on Amazon.

I like the white color scheme, this seems to be a Massdrop exclusive. I strongly recommend picking them up if are in the market for good headphones.
