There's no reason to waste a USB Type C port on a keyboard, for that matter there's not really a reason to waste a USB 3.0 port on one. It's pretty much why every motherboard seems to have two USB 2.0 ports set off from everything else, usually with a PS/2 port if it has one.
You missed the whole point. The USB-C connector is on the side of the keyboard. The rest is a matter of cable selection. While I prefer a USB-A on a full sized keyboard, it is most often a Mini USB what is there. And if I have to choose between USB-C and the wacky mini connector, I would take the USB-C for sure.
the quality of the keycaps of Akko(or even Akko this brand itself) is not that good as I look through the review of it in China, so probably would save my money ..
SmithyNZThat's exactly what I saw in it. A few other similar classics. I can't think of the names. I just need to be able to physically change the position of the keycaps without ruining the feel.
Forget the quality! They couldn't pass this description off as credible . . . The design evokes a sense of nostalgia from the Old West, like a steam train powering through the last leg of a long journey
HorizonsEdgeI've got to say, it would have been much better to play off of a very different nostalgia. None of us were alive at that time. It's not nostalgia. Nor do those colors evoke that image. However, I do like the way the board looks.
HorizonsEdgeThat is bizarre. I actually had to check that they hadn’t accidentally used the same text from the SA Western keycap drop (link below), but apparently not. I think this color scheme is pretty nice but how on earth does it evoke the Wild West?

giamminI was thinking that myself... I don't really need a keyboard... but the caps are almost worth it. Honestly though, you can pick a themed keycap set like nuclear data for a little more, and I'd rather do that. Nice set up though for $100 no doubt.
