this or the IKBC MF108, which is better?
I prefer this because it looks less gamer/gimicky.
The IKBC says it has per-key programmability, which might be useful for you.
The caps on the IKBC look cheap, but that's common for any shine through caps
What about build quality between the two? Does it make a big difference that the IKBC is built out of all aluminum vs plastic for the AKKO?
I don't own either board. So I am going off the specs. Most "high end" enthusiasts prefer a board that uses some sort of solid, milled metal for the case (brass, aluminum). Polycarbonate boards are expensive also. The aluminum part is premium, but the RGB and caps, IMO make it look cheap.
I agree with you on the caps, and I don't care for the RGB either. So I'll be going with the AKKO. Thanks!
