Akko is junk. They used to be affiliates with Ducky because Ducky being from Taiwan was not able to sell into Chinese market without it being produced there. These guys ended up screwing ducky over and copied duckys old mold and sold it to other markets as knockoff ducky branded products. These guys make subpar mechanical keyboards cheap materials, cut corners in production and do this market a dis-service. I would avoid this brand at all costs. I am surprised drop would promote this.

Does it have to come with that silly esc key?

ovidiusI don't think there's an option without the Akko logo on the ESC key- the Banggood page for the keycaps themselves have no mention of a regular ESC key, just 3 different colored variants of the logo.

Is the USB-C port on the back of the keyboard or under it?

Thanks for this. It looks like the connector is shaped so that it "locks" with the keyboard, so using a custom USB-C cable might not be feasible.

blakstealthI guess you could always dreamed away some of the plastic. Being underneath, it would show too much.

Akko make the lower end Ducky boards. You can see some Akko x Ducky products from when they first started collaborating. Not entirely in English, but the board is the 3108v2 https://m.intl.taobao.com/detail/detail.html?spm=a212k0.12153887.0.0.6df3687dENoHOu&id=595795743538&skuId=4131129356332

AnarchyAelleAkko is a sister company to Ducky, according to videos I watched. Something of a "distributor", so to speak.

Are the 9009 colorway keycaps actually genuine? Or no?

Thanks, and I'm sorry, I assumed everybody considered GMK 9009's to be the "OG". Guess not, my bad.

Geo.LiNothing to be sorry about. GMK 9009 keycap set alone is priced way above this keyboard with keycaps, cables, etc. Just similar keycaps colour. Different target audience.

YungShrekWesAli express has a 9009 keycap set for cheap. Might pick it up just for the esc key. or wait for the 9009 keypora artisans. That’s what I’m personally trying to find

If someone owns it and can compare to other brands, please write a review. I'm interested how does it compare to similarly priced Durgod.
