Hi yes how would I go about filing a warranty claim? I've been having a few issues with my chair. The tilt mechanism seems to have stopped working for the seat, the back part is fine. The gas lift the bottom of it has disconnected from the steel base and the ball bearing in it came out. A nut I dont know where from had sheared off. I don't have it anymore. I was able to get it back in I've really been the only one sitting in the chair, I am under 300 pounds so I didn't go past the limit. @AKRacingSupport

5’9”, 240lbs, square shaped dude with large shoulders- would any of these models (opal/obsidian/onyx) be a good fit for me? Also, whats the difference between ‘seat width’ and ‘outer seat width’?

All of the products offered in this drop would work for you. They all have mostly flat seat backs and seat bottoms. I would personally recommend the Onyx as it has the most cold molded foam in it vs any AK chair we build. It is the top of the line chair. With your build it will by far be the most comfortable for you.
Please note that "B" is the inner back measurement and "A" is the outer back measurement. "C" is the inner seat measurement and "D" is the outer seat measurement.

@B.Hutch@AKRacing I know this is a long shot, but I just bought the Drop for https://drop.com/buy/akracing-max-gaming-chairs-2018-models/ a couple of days ago. I was really eyeing the Onyx Deluxe, but couldn't pass up the great deal for the Max. I can be happy with the Max (I wouldn't have purchased it otherwise), but is there anyway to change to this deal since it hasn't shipped?

clivingstonDitto - i just popped for the Pro Gaming chair - the Onyx Deluxe looks better for straight up coding (vs. gaming, which i don't really do). Can an Admin pipe in?

cpantsMax is has a slightly larger seat bottom and slightly wider back. The ONYX has about 15% more cold molded foam than the MAX. The ONYX is considered the top of the line chair for AKRacing.

ryanhjleeSo, misread your original post. All chairs offered in the drop are considered higher end models than the Nitro. Plus these have a 5 year warranty vs the Nitro only has 2. Lastly all these models do have more internal foam padding than the Nitro.

Well, I'm definitely sour now too since I bought one on April 10th and now it is $70.00 cheaper and was just delivered three days ago!

Mrmayhem44Yeah, I think mine changed a bit from the drops I received last week. It went from $220 for obsidian to $230 for the onyx, probably would have gotten the onyx then :/

Am I the only one who HATES leather (or PU leather) in chairs? I run into this both in office chairs and car seats: the premium models with all the features ONLY come in leather, and leather is treated as the luxury option, despite it being a sticky, uncleanable, decaying mess.

Sorry for it to seem that way. However about 80-90% of all sales are either PU or Leather. Its harder for us to offer all the options of the higher in models in a mesh material. What specific options in a chair would you like to see in Mesh that is currently not available?

AKRacingSupportWell the 4D armrests for one. Admittedly the argument gets more heated in cars. You don't want to know how many features I had to skip on my last car to get cloth seat (believe it or not, even ABS is only on leather chair models, it's ridiculous).
