I just ordered this chair...but now I am wondering if the AKRACING MAX / PRO BIG & TALL GAMING CHAIR would be a better choice. I am 6' tall and about 250 pounds. I need to be able to sit in the chair at my desk sometimes for 4-6 hours. I'm not a gamer, I'm in my 60's, and I still work from home.

@B.Hutch@AKRacing not exactly relevant to this specific chair, but do you guys offer any replacement chair bases? I have a AKracing Prime chair, and the base has warped badly enough over 2-3 years of normal use that it’s become a challenge to sit upright in it.

@B.Hutch@AKRacing when I try to rock the chair feels like it is resisting and makes it harder. Is there a way to make that easier?

Ethan_KYes! The large round nob under the front side of the chair needs to be adjusted. RIghty Tighy, Lefty Loosy.

Can you lock the armrests into position or do they move around no matter what you do?

They do soft lock into place and are not easily moved. It takes a decent amount of force for them to move out of position.

AKRacingSupportThank you again for the reply. Unfortunately for me, I (irrationally, I know) hate it when my armrests move so I can't take a chance on the soft lock, although it looks like a nice chair.

BuysumtimeThey are essentially the same exact chair. The Nitro is sold in Europe and carries a 2 year warranty. We were able to bring it here for Massdrop as an exclusive in order to offer the special pricing.
