Seat Breaks

I know this is a late review, but I am now on my 3rd warranty replacement seat. Just like the other reviews have stated the seat has broken every time in the exact same place. The only reason I give it a two-star is they have replaced the seat each time. I did get some pushback on my 3rd replacement, but they did finally give in and admit there was an issue with the seat frame. They also said that issue has been resolved, so hopefully, this is the last one I will need to warranty.

Two have failed in the same place.

They broke in the seat, just below the ratcheting/reclining mechanism. I was ~260 when I got the chair and I'm ~215 now so its not like its under tremendous strain. It's just not built strong enough.

I loved this chair, but it snapped like a twig after a year of use.

I loved my chair, but it snapped like a twig after a year and a half of use. People remarked about its dark leather and it's size and obvious comfort. "You people. You people sit on your poor people chairs", I would say and laugh to my co-workers. Stupid people with your stupid chairs. I would take a nap during my lunch. Set my phone to go off after 25 minutes and put my seat back and nap. Listening to bi-neural beats. This droned out the sound of others. Then after a little after a year of use or so my chair broke. The seat broke while I was going to take my nap. It broke inside, in the seat somewhere inside where I can't fix it. It's dead. I took off the back part that reclined and use it like a broken stool. People laugh at me now. Look at that man, once so proud sitting on a broken chair. People whisper and point at me now. "He ordered that chair online". He will not get a new one. He spent a lot on that chair. Now he has to sit on a broken shell of once it once was. I'm so sad. So very, very sad. It's under warranty but I don't know who to call. I'm stupid and sad and nobody loves me and my chair is broke.

I've had this chair for 2 years now and am going through warranty for the 3rd time now. I'm a 6ft 200lb male and perfectly fit within the max weight of this chair. This has not stop the frame from breaking multiple times now. From just laying back in the chair and the steel snapping in the chair mechanism flinging the chair back to the seat's frame snapping twice due to the design of the chair putting too much tension where the recline lever is (Check the discussions, I'm not the only one with this problem). While the chair is nice and customer support is good and has replaced parts the first 2 times (currently submitting for the 3rd) I just can't recommend this flawed chair.

I would highly recommend the chair and company for all other items sold by them. I bought this chair and one of the pivot mechanism on the sitting part of the chair broke. I sent them an email with picture and they shipped replacement part in haste. They were very easy to work with for warranty and my chair has been solid with no issues since then. Unfortunately, I cannot say the same for many other companies when it comes to after sale service. Good products and great company who stands behind their products.
