I placed the order for this chair on March 1st and just saw that my order is marked as cancelled as of today, the day it was estimated to be shipped. Has anyone else had a similar experience?
The plastic cover that comes preinstalled onbthe chair (covering the reclining lever) arrives cracked. I emailed the customer service email often listed here as a response but haven’t heard anything back for days now. Can someone please help me?
Product arrived kinda broken. Everything was fine on this chair except a small piece of broken plastic fell from the inside of right plastic cover. The cover keeps shaking once I move the chair now. Not happy with that.
@Michael_AKRacingAmericaI'm a little bigger than average, I'm 6'2" and 275. Best fit Overture or Player? Gonna spend 7 - 9 hours a day on it in my office. Thanks for any feedback you can provide.
@Michael_AKRacingAmerica:
I'm a big guy (6', 270lb), and I find the PU material to be uncomfortable in the heat of the subtropics. What would your recommendations be for something that will support me and not leave me stuck to the seat?
HalbyrdWe use the highest quality available of PU, so you might not experience the same issues you have had with it in the past. But, if you want to play it safe in that regard, I would recommend our new EX-Wide model. It has about 1.6 inches of more width in the seat and is made from fabric. Alternatively, going with PU, our new Pro Model uses perforated PU for more breathability and is on a large frame, too.
Hey there @Michael_AKRacingAmerica ,
Can I ask what are the differences between Overture, Premium, and ProX lineups, feature-wise? I'm a very small Asian, only 117 lbs and 5' 2" :(, so I'm gonna be very comfortable in any chair anyway. What I'm concerned with is what features the lineups are offering. Thanks a lot
As much as I want to purchase from MD/AKracing US (for better price and better QC I believe), it's kinda impossible to ship the product to my country :(
we dont even have official AKracing website, or any other gaming chair brand , in our country. Local IT/computer shops just import the chairs from China, and then resell at pretty damn high price. TBH, the issue is not the higher price, but the China factor. We don't even know if the shops are buying from authorized dealers/factories or from some fake ones. And they only offer 2 years of warranty, instead of 5. So I'm really, really interested if there is any chance I can purchase from you guys and have the product shipped to me. I'm from Vietnam btw.
I ordered an AK Racing chair and @Michael_AKRacingAmerica was very helpful with my whole
process and honestly gave me the best customer service ever. I can’t wait to recieve my chair and hopefully purchase another one in the future.
i checked the official website and both chairs had back angle lever picture which said u can lock it at any angle
and while reading the specification both of them had "No" on the angle lock
so can u really lock both or any of them at any desired angle?
@Michael_AKRacingAmericaand is there any other differences between the player and overture series
entermaxReclining refers to the back and the back only, and yes it will recline and lock at several positions all the way to 180° angle to the seat cushion (flat). Want to have the back at a 100° angle to the seat cushion? The back will lock and be able to hold that angle. Want the back at a 110° angle to the seat cushion? It can hold that angle too.
The chairs also can tilt the seat cushion (butt cushion) back a few degrees like a rocking chair. That’s different than what you’re asking about. THIS 2017 model can change the resistance to rocking back (and lock upright), but the upcoming 2018 models can rock back to a contemplative angle and lock there.
