Hopefully I am only one with problem on my chair, just received it and has damage to arm rest plastic support, and 1 out of 5 holes that are not drilled properly on the base so can't get caster to install. I reported to support so hopefully they can help. MD-53866-2606807

nmak66I am still trying to figure out how to get help on this, I messaged Massdrop but they said this one they only have to work work through warranty. I submitted request on Akracing website and did not hear back yet, I just checked website again and I had missed a note on the submit page that support tickets would "NOT be responded too" on the one spot I found online to contact them. I be so frustrated I just missed that small part of the Akracing contact page. I don't understand why they would not be able to take a web submit for creating a ticket as this makes the CSR's job so much easier, copy paste, and reply via phone or email as to the solution. So I have to wait until Monday to try to find time to call them, not a happy camper here but what can I do at this moment? I kinda wish Massdrop reply to my issue would have included a CC of the customer support for Akracing that would have been better support for the money spent. I am surprised I did not get forwarded to them as "This customer had an issue FYI" kinda thing. It makes me feel a little unsure about buying something this cost or higher here. I hope I don't get run around on the Akracing side, as I don't want to do battles, I just wanted a working happy replacement chair for this aging office chair I use now. I also don't want to have to have to tape my current chair together to buy it more time as it is at end of life :p AKRacingAmerica

Michael_Hi Michael: Thank you for your reply. My apology for not updating/replying sooner I have had a few things come up like everyone else :p Turns out Akracing uses ZENDESK technology for support - (I think the Akracing page and Massdrop need to update below information somehow to help others quicker :-D to try to avoid a TLDR I am going to try to use formatting.
*Resolution in progress* => I was able to get in contact with Akracing USA customer support on Feb 15th (CA based location, opens 11am cst.) 805-383-7005 and spoke to George, who was very helpful and directed me on how to easily take care of this issue. He did get my information from massdrop and found me in the system. He is sending me out the plastic panel that I can swap easily, and a new 5 star base for the wheel casters (I should get this tomorrow 2/25/2018)
--------------------------- **Note for Massdrop\Akracing to improve others experiences on support** I wish Massdrop had known the following, since it would have removed a lot of my frustration from the get-go. Here is how George had me easily get the ball rolling, So I had the correct website https://www.akracng.com/ - but instead of clicking the useless for customers "Contact us" link https://www.akracing.com/contact-us/ - which is what I had done first time that can't create tickets. He showed me following on same website...
**PROCESS TO GET RESOLVED** =>> he had me look at bottom right of my browser while on on the akracing.com page, there is a RED Question mark with circle around it followed by support, and clicking that brings up "Leave us a message" I included my Massdrop receipt transaction number and confirmation of my shipping address and phone number. after I completed this step he called me back not long after and confirmed the resolution part above.
This then gives the following fields and ability to attach photos of issue at hand. Your name Email address* How can we help you?* Attachments

**Buying a second Akracing Chair now** Thanks to George and his great customer support I just placed another order for a chair for my wife through current drop ending in 14 hours :-) Your build quality of chair itself looks very rugged, and the warranty makes us very happy.

**Our OEM generic gaming chair turned out to be crap, recently failed information and warning to others** Ironically a few days after I received my Chair and had done the first post on massdrop, my wife's OEM Chair failed on her due to cheap shoddy welding (3 of four welds gave on the back support right side) and that chair turns out was a ghost company "Mrs King Home" That has no warranty as far as we can find, and Amazon could do nothing for us since it was past 90 day policy. I would avoid any generic chair if possible, we just confirmed when we found receipt that it was 190 bucks for 1/4th the padding and crappy welds. This is information on the chair to avoid if anyone is interested.
