Hey @AKRacingSupport , I have been using this chair for about 1.5 years now, and its been fine, but now that i have an issue, and opened a ticket, im not getting support for fixing it. Like others I am having issue with the recline part of the chair base. I opened a ticket and got response for about 2 weeks, but it was a lot of back and forth that really couldve been in a single email, but the tech kept asking single simple questions that shoulve been in one email. Now that i answered what i assume are all the questions, ive had no additional contact for over 3 weeks. Ive asked repeatedly for updates, and even contacted support again separate from that ticket asking for someone else to check on my ticket. NOTHING. This is rediculous.

Hey @AKRacingSupport , ive been loving this chair for the past year that Ive had it, but at some point today I noticed that the right armrest swivel has gone from the normal 3 angle settings to completely loose. Is there any way I can fix this without a replacement part? Also, if I have a warranty (which I think I might but not completely sure) would that cover it?

AKRacingDylan1thank you! I think I found the source of the issue but it is not something that i am capable of fixing myself. This is due to the fact that 2 pieces that are supposed to be screwed tightly together have coroded (I think) and now do not stick as tightly, causing the armrest to unscrew the locking mechanism from the armrest arm if rotated counterclockwise with enough force (not much force at all). Im not sure if this is just something that happens over time, something I have done wrong, or just unusual, but I hope this info helps the people at AKRacing. Edit - after further investigation, I have realized that those 2 parts couldwere probably meant to be one single part but coroded and is now 2 seperate pieces that make the locking mechanism all whacky and counterclockwise turns now cause it unscrew. Unfortunate but it does put me a bit at ease to know exactly what the issue is. Edit 2 - Managed to fix it enough for comfort by simply supergluing those metal pieces back together. Still a little sketchy and Im not going to test the strength of the bond.

Hey @AKRacingSupport , is the Core Series the smallest chair you have? When are you dropping that next?

Thank you for your response AKRacing. I was waiting a few days for the new AKRacing seat to drop and now I'm deciding between the Core series SX and the Premium Masters series. I am a behemoth of a guy at 5'7" + 130 lbs and the distance from my butt to the back of the knee joint is about 18". However, the seat depth E for this chair is 19.3" and the seat depth for the Premium Masters has two measurements, 21.6" and 23.2" for E! I know the lumbar support would help shorten the gap, but what is your opinion on which seat should fit me better and which seat measurement is real for the Premium Master? I am ready to pay for this thing but an opinion would help ease my mind.

Edit 08/23/19: Despite him not answering I went ahead and bought the chair. And I can honestly say, I do not regret it. Somehow, without the lumbar pillow my legs fit perfectly in the chair lengthwise. With the pillow, there's about an inch between the back of my knee joint and the edge of the chair. So I can see how taller people would not like this chair, though most chairs are huge so boo hoo. The height adjustment is good enough for my 5'7" ass but shorter people will hang their legs a little. The quality is astonishing, easily the best chair I've ever owned and a bargain at massdrop price. The left chair brace came chipped but is covered with a plastic piece during installation so I don't care. Installation was relatively easy though a bit tricky to do by yourself. I'll stop now but will make a review in the future after break in and hopefully no break down. Initial impressions, really good! Highly recommend AK racing. <3 ___________ Hey @AKRacingSupport it's been four days since my last question, could I please get an answer? How much bigger is the Premium Masters Series chair compared to the SX? Or @AKRacingAmerica could also give me a hand.

Anyone have issues with the chair bending forward when sat on? It doesn't bend too much for me but when my roomie sits in it (~230 lb), it bends forward quite a bit. He said it doesn't happen to the gaming chairs he's used to. My chair was missing a washer for one of the screws connecting the lift to the seat of the chair, dunno if that would make a difference.
samuelsparkHi, the chair should not lean forward at all. This could be a sign that the mechanism is installed backwards. That is the black tray that screws into the bottom of the chair. The simple way to make sure is that the big round knob, which is the tension adjustment, should be positioned towards the front of the chair, so please check that. If you have any questions, please contact service@akracing.com

Hi, I'm 5'10 at 275 pounds. Pretty big guy, which one would I be better off getting across your models? I prefer having a good amount of room.

Verix1435Your best bet is either the AKRacing MAX or PRO series chairs. All depends if you want a flat seat bottom or the side bolsters. The side bolsters on the PRO are much softer and flexible than our other models. Either chair will fit you. https://drop.com/buy/akracing-max-gaming-chairs-2018-models It will launch again this week. Just request it and you will get notified by email. Cheers.
