A $92 knife made of AUS 8. I've been meaning to pick up an Al Mar, but it won't be this one.

It's a funny thing, but from what I understand, if you made a sword out of AUS-8 and took it back in time to the middle ages or antiquity -- a period of time when steel was still made by blacksmiths in small batches by hand -- it would end up being so much better than what they were able to forge by hand that people would think you had a magic sword. It would shear through the best steel of the day like aluminum, you'd start a legend. With your AUS-8. Perspective is a funny thing, both theirs then and ours today. Isn't it?

reswrightIndeed, a pallet load of Aus8 could change history ! You might have to slip in some forge schematics and a tip or two but I think Rudolphistan would be doing pretty good by now ! Or Rudolphvania ?

In the note, the 4" model is + $10, but next to the pics, it's + $30. Which is it?! Is the lesser listing just false advertising?

fom the description is, indeed, more false advertising 😤 Now, why it costs $6 to add .65", but $24 more to add another .75"...that's a whole other question 🤔

I know... The first part of my comment said that if you click the Buy button, you'll see the price they're actually going to charge, and it will be +$30
