$170 for a simple lock-back with AUS-8 steel and no assisted open? That seems like a ripoff to me. You can get a custom Buck in the slightly better S30V steel for considerably less than that, or a Benchmade with the superior 154CM steel and much better other specs at the same price. Don't get me wrong, it's a beautiful knife. But it nothing about it seems to cost $170, besides the brand name

connguyThat doesn't matter. The goal of massdrop.com isn't to find products with the best price-performance ratio, but to reduce the price of wanted items.
Sadly this knife is widely available in the US for less than 180$ plus shipping so no big deal there. Maybe for buyers from overseas - this knife in Germany retails for over 350 USD, if you can find it.

connguyUnfortunately that's usually the case with Al Mar - they exist in a bit of a time bubble.

MojoMCThe lowest price is $148.99. It is still possible to buy one for less on the internet, but it is not a bad deal for this knife at the lowest price, in my opinion.
