I don't know how good these knives are, but it's nice to see a short, 3-inch paring knife. Most are longer, 90 mm or so. Since I mostly use these for coring tomatos, the shorter the better.
CloacaI can see where you'd have difficulty coring tomatoes with a 90 cm paring knife, given that 90 cm is barely half an inch short of 3 foot long!
To be honest I'm not sure which would be more annoying, a gigantic 3 foot paring knife or a tiny little 6 inch chef's knife :)
