VG-10 Steel With a Surefire G-10 Grip

Headquartered in Oregon since 1979, Al Mar Knives takes inspiration from its late founder, blackbelt Al Mar, and has since gained a reputation for quality cutlery and innovative designs. The SERE 2000 is hefty folder designed for a solid grip. The textured G-10 handle is thick and similar to an hourglass in shape. This keeps the fingers from sliding up too far and into the blade. Done in a spear-point style, the blade is crafted from high-carbon-content VG-10 steel with a Rockwell hardness of 59 for good edge retention. It deploys by way of the dual thumbstuds and locks thanks to a sturdy liner lock. Though it certainly makes its presence known in the hand, it won’t in the pocket thanks to the deep carry clip.

Note: At checkout, choose between the satin finish blade or black blade (- $15). Due to the sensitive nature of shipping knives internationally, we can only ship this knife to select countries.
