Al Mar is one of my favourite knife designer/maker
I bought the largest and smallest in this range... then, shortly after they arrived I bought the middle one.
They are very light (but not flimsy) which makes for great EDC.Very Sharp blade, grippy scales and an easy opening action with a firm “click” shows a well made, quality knife. 9.5/10
It's not my style of knife but I like it. I only bought it because for a while I've always been curious about Al Mar ultralight folders. Tactical knives are not my thing, but I like the lightness and thinness of the blade. What I don't like is the lock stick. If this was in my rotation I would fix it but as of now it sits on my desk and is my go too letter opener.
Great little lightweight knife. Action feels great, the indent is nice and solid.
One small dig was the centering is off a touch. Apart from that all good
Out of the box, the blade is pretty sharp and flips out easily. The knife is very light thereby justifying the "ultralight" label. Time will tell if it holds up.
I like Al Mar knives, design, fit and Finnish.I have a few in my collection and this is a nice addition, the blade is very sharp and the knife is well balanced.
Great blade design, but mine came with a slightly bent blade. Not enough to rub or hinder the smooth flipping action of this knife but cosmetic blade centering off.
