Aggressive D2 Blade, G-10 Scales
The full-tang Hunter from Allegheny Knifeworks sports a wicked 3.25-inch blade made from D2 tool steel, which is known for its excellent wear resistance. The blade’s aggressive point facilitates puncturing, while the finger choil helps you choke up to get into hard-to-reach areas. Cut with a high saber grind, the blade excels in slicing tasks, too. And because the folks at Allegheny know that a solid grip is key in the outdoors, they’ve fitted these bad boys with high-traction G-10 scales. The scales can be removed if your knife gets dirty in the field. Also included with the Hunter is a modular Kydex sheath for convenient carry on the move.
