Wow. I love the choice of material (and the price), but that is one wonky design. I wouldn't even want to go out in public with this lest people go so far as to question my sexual orientation. It's that odd-looking.

These are made from kits purchasable at woodcraft.

FourLettersI think that in addition to doing drops the community votes on, companies can also come to massdrop with their product. It would be a pretty good way to get your product out into the world and get people talking about it. The success of that product on massdrop, however, is far from being a sure thing.

This is one helluva ugly pen. How did it end up here?
The material is nice, but the design...
Small wonder no one bought or committed to buy one, up to this moment of posting with 2 days left on the countdown LOL.

What's the different between "The Dynamo" and "The Dignitary" ? They both looks almost the same to me

I think it is the two different woods layered together. I have seen the same sort of nice striped effect on other pens made from things like corian. If you look carefully, you can the different grain in the light and dark stripes.
I don't know if the colours are totally natural, or 'enhanced' by treatment, but I know that the bog oak is naturally very dark.

CaroleTKauri is a beautiful wood. These trees grow huge, but they grow really slow, and has become quite rare. There is now a disease spreading into the Kauri forests which doesn't bode well for the Kuari Trees. Swamp Kauri is in high demand because Kauri in general is hard to come across. Many of the Trees are now protected.

Is the zebra-like style nature or man-stained?
