I like the idea, but it's a bit on the pricey side, and honestly I think a nylon version would suit the intended purpose(at least for me) better as I would be too precious with a leather one. But the idea is great and way more practical than my large gridit that I always pack for travelling so I can simply lift everything out of my bag in one when I use the overhead lockers.

Thank you for the thoughtful feedback! We've been researching other materials to use that align with our brand and mission. You may see a lower cost version of this from us in the future!

Well I will definitely buy it if you do, I'm just way too rough and tumble with my gear for a leather one at this price.
Plus this kind of thing would be really useful on exercise(in a rugged material), I'm often stuck supervising or having to do admin posts and the standard issue officers ledgers and admin bags issued by the military or even available to buy are either old fashioned or just over priced tacticool nonsense(why do I need a grenade pouch on my laptop bag).

Use waxed canvas. That does more with the leather look you're after over nylon.

That's what we're thinking. The advantage with leather is the ability to construct pockets with cuts like we have here. Finding a way to finish those edges that doesn't eat up the materials savings with extra time is the sticking point. But we will get it figured out.

I get that, these are made for city life. There are definitely scenarios like the ones you mentioned where I would prioritize durability over style too. Thanks for the in-depth comments!
