buttons are an incredibly insecure method for securing onto belts. These will metal fatigue over time, even if initially very tight - you will LOSE valuable items eventually if you continue to use these. I speak from painful experience. Allegory - you need to come up with a better/more secure way to secure the belt loops.

pleehoPleeho - We initially had these riveted at both ends, but customers requested an easier way to remove the pouch. For those who prefer more secure attachment over ease of removal, check this drop: www.massdrop.com/buy/allegory-edc-belt-pouch That said, we have used this snap hardware extensively and have seen it continue to hold up for years of rough use. We also placed the snaps on the bottom here so that they are not load bearing, the load is transferred to the more secure rivet at the top of the belt loop. So between the durability of this hardware, and the fact that it is rarely, if ever, under stress - I'm not sure how much metal fatigue danger there is. And even then, both snaps would have to fail simultaneously for the pouch to come off. If anyone becomes concerned about the snaps wearing out over time, this is covered by our lifetime guarantee, so don't hesitate to reach out for a fresh set of snaps.

pleehoYou can always feed your belt through the loops and leave them secured to reduce or even eliminate potential wear and tear on the snaps.
