jffroeseI agree! I got one on the last drop and am so happy with it that I'm getting another to give as a gift. I wasn't sure I'd like the feel of it — the shape of the pen gave me pause — but it turned out to be well balanced and the nib was very smooth and, while I wouldn't characterize it as wet, it does keep the ink flowing nicely.

Not that I'm falling over myself to buy this one, but aside from sheer bloody-mindedness on the part of the vendor, is there a reason for the lack of international shipping? I get that it can be an expensive exercise, but surely the option should be there except in situations where customs would actually prevent the item from entering the country (which, with a pen, they'd be highly unlikely to).

The description says that "For an additional ($25), you'll have the option to add an extra nib in extra-fine, fine, broad, 1.1, or 1.4 italic sizes," but the options seems to indicate that we can merely choose a different nib size for the extra fee. If we choose a non-medium nib, are we getting two nibs or one?

I joined the committed drop. And I would like to know what kind of the ink cartridges or converter can be used in this pen?
I found this one from Amazon.com but not sure if it fits to this pen or not. Can you advice? Thanks.

Ruth, thanks for the info. It's good to know that there is a replacement option available in the market. And I also check Allegory's website, they do sell the piston-filler, and it's the same as what I had received. I like to use piston-filler over the cartridge. I enjoy using this pen a lot. I will drop another one if the drop is available. Take care!

rlausaI also prefer converters to cartridges. The Lanxivi wasn't ideal. It's good to know that the converter on the site is the same as the one that came with the pen. I think I'll a couple so that I have a spare!
