Century old wood is not in any way sustainable. I am very suspect as to how this wood has been sourced. Is there any documentation that can be shown about this wood?
Chandy We definitely appreciate your concern here. Sustainability is a core value for us, which is why we don't use a single live tree in our products. Bog oak and kauri are from ancient forests that fell thousands of years ago and were preserved underground. Our olivewood comes from the trimmings of live olive groves, which must be trimmed in order to stay productive. We've also planted thousands of trees through a partnership with the National Forest Foundation.

This is perfect for me. I don't need it or want it, so I'm not $69 poorer.
All snarkassery aside, I might want it a little bit if I had enough expendable cash. For now I'm pretty happy with the variety of cheap pens I ordered from JetPens based on positive reviews.
I got my pen and I really love it...but I noticed the clip spins pretty freely around. It has no hold really whatsoerver. I have a different pen from Allegory (the Wanderer) and it is much tighter. Any suggests from the merchant on how to tighten that up?
MazzicI had the same problem. Looking at their website they show the manufacture of this pen by press fitting the components into the turned barrel. I very carefully placed mine in a vice (after removing inner pen components) and tightened the fittings slightly (fraction of a mm), this tightened up the clip nicely.
AohpiperThis is exactly what we do to resolve this issue. Our lifetime guarantee covers this - so feel free to send it in if you are comfortable doing the fix yourself. Apologies for not catching this before it shipped!
Does anyone know whether this is compatible with Pilot G2 ink cartridges?
Edit: it isn't. Answered my own question here: https://www.jetpens.com/blog/the-ultimate-guide-to-pen-refills/pt/231
Lol, I actually *don't* want to. If this accepted a standard rollerball then I could use my beloved Uni UMR-82 cartridges with a .28mm tip. Unfortunately, no such luck.
