I want to get in on this, but I'm concerned it won't be warm enough for my Minnesota weather. Is it going to keep me warm in 0 degree weather and less?

MMMMMYes! This is absolutely perfect for our MN winters. The hood is very soft and warm, I didn't have to wear a hat most days because I could have the hood up. It also fits nice sound the waist so the wind want any problem. The sleeves are snug to the wrist so no snow getting up your arms. Highly recommend, I wore it in -25°f wind chill and was very warm :)

CancerHow's the zipper? I keep seeing stuff on Amazon about the zipper breaking or malfunctioning.

rhinocerosbladderMine still works very well, only complaint is that zipping it all the way up to the top can be tough because of the overlapping parts near there, if that makes sense.
