This is probably my favorite edc pen. The finish is perfect, the quality in detail is outstanding. My only complaint is the lid opens im my pocket quite often.

The Blue Clipped Alpha EN Pen looks excellent with the Blue Prometheus screw. The quality of these pens can be felt while holding and using it.

This pen is great. The machining is great and has no flaws. The threading is perfect. The blue clip pops and looks much nicer in person (in the image it doesn't seem to work as well but in person its great). Definitly worth the purchase, will be buying a copper or brass one in the future.

Very happy to have a pen that takes a Mont Blanc Fineliner cartridge, and at a much lower cost than an actual Mont Blanc pen. However, nothing about this pen merits the cost. I don't care how nice the machining is. The "Electroless nickel plated" material feels cheap to me, and it is very slick in hand. Some sort of texturing to add grip would have been much preferred. I think I would enjoy the titanium version more, both for a sturdier feel and more grip, but I just can't see $250.00 for that pen. I love the Machine Era Solid Brass Pen and it was a 30 dollar pen made out of brass that isn't nearly as slick in hand. Quibble all day over whether or not the machining on it is as nice as it is on the Alpha, but there's a $110.00 price gap between the two that isn't justifiable in my opinion. I am not averse to paying high dollar for something if the price can be justified. I collect pocket knives as well as pens, and I think the price difference between a Chris Reeve Knife and a Benchmade knife is justifiable, but I'm just not seeing that in this pen. It is a nice pen and I'll enjoy it, but I definitely think I paid too much for it.

Excellent pen. The balance is great and frankly it is about the perfect weight. I was looking at the titanium version some time ago, but never did pull the trigger. I'm glad I waited because I think the titanium would have been too heavy for my use. My only real issue is with the included refill (which I won't dock a star for). The designer indicates that he would prefer to use Montblanc but is not allowed to. The refill actually wrote really well for about a week. Now it appears faded and skips some. It isn't out of ink. I'll definitely be ordering the "proper" refills for this pen.

Much less expensive than a Montblanc rollerball. Writes well, feels comfortable in hand, gets carried daily. Blue clip faded fast.
