I viewed within first 12 hours, but only the big date quartz was available and in the low $400 range. I want the diver 300, but it wasn't available.

Just got the notice from MD that the watch is picke up. According to the picture and model it is automatical, but I remember it was only option to choose quartz...strange things are going on here....:)

I have been checking this daily since the drop launched a few days back. I am new to mass drop and I am wondering why didn't they didn't put the number of pieces that this was limited to? I now check today to see there is one piece left and that is the quartz chrono.. Maybe I am missing something but there was no clear indication of the limited no of pieces anywhere on the page until after attempting to join the drop, which I tried to do so today to be met that all pieces bar one had been sold.. Great!! In Future a small suggestion massdrop - put it in big bold letters the limited amount and how many are left or - SOLD OUT at the head of the page and in the thumb nail, so I don't have to waste my time watching a drop that has already been sold out 5 minutes after it launched.

Is the 1 year Massdrop International warranty transferable if a person sold the watch, because it didn't fit them or whatever, during the warranty period?

If you are expecting a top grade decorated movement as shown, better check with Massdrop to make sure that is what you are getting. Many of the Alpina watches sold online these days contain basic grade movements with no decoration. It appears that they are being cobbled together from whatever parts are availble. This is, no doubt, due to a dump of non current inventory models Be careful no matter where you buy....I have seen incorrest hands ,different dials, different bands, etc,...CAVEAT EMPTOR!

If it's not as the photos show in the drop deccription, and it isn't an upgrade then you shouldn't hesitiate to return it! Otherwise Massdrop will think it's ok....just like training a dog
