This drop should read: "GOT TINY FEET? THEN ORDER THIS SHOE AND BE SURE TO ORDER A SIZE UP!" I own the Lone Star 3.0 and almost thought I got gypped with the snub nose sizing seeming a little close, but I lived with it as it was sufficient for trail runs and back packing. But with the reviews on this shoe, I'd be afraid to commit to them....that is, if I could even get my size which is usually an 11....or 11 1/2 or 12?? in this model. My advice as an Altra owner: heed the size suggestion to order up; a whole size is what I'd do. Still a fan of massdrop!

Man... I just bought these from Amazon a month ago for $60. I went with 11.5 s and they fit fine, previously had the One 2.5 in 12 and it was a touch too big.

I love Altras. But everything I have heard of these shoes is that the sizing is a disaster. Which means it's better to risk getting them for $16 more from Altra (https://www.altrarunning.com/men/instinct-40) and being able to return them if they don't fit than being stuck with a shoe that you don't want.
