I have the Olympus 2.0 and now the Olympus 2.5. The soles are the same and the fit is similar, but the extra overlays and less stretchy mesh on the 2.5s allow them to laced tighter for technical descents, so I'm liking the 2.5s a little more than the 2.0.
Pros: Extra thick cushion, good grip. Lots of toe room once your able to get your foot in. Cons: Kinda hard to get my foot in the shoe. Laces are really short. Horrible for track running. Really flat. Feels like I'm forced to flop my foot down really hard when running.
I'll still give it 5 stars since they're trail shoes and I'm running on a rubber high school track. Probably should've bought the next size up.

I really like these shoes. Ive had 2 back operations, and only run occasionally but I use these shoes backpacking and they are great. a bit squishy like walking in sand but very comfortable. I ordered these from massdrop because of the price as I already have a pair this is my 2nd I like them that much.

Very comfortable. One of the most comfortable pairs of shoes I've worn in fact. for hiking you want to size up. For just running they are about right. also there are ways to tie shoes to prevent your feet moving forward.

I wear the Lone Peaks for hiking and backpacking. I wanted to try the Olympus for every day shoes. I have been extremely happy with them.

I love Altra shoes. I have the Lone Peak 3.5s. I am current wearing the Olympus and I never have foot pain or fatigue. They are so light and comfortable. Never really want to take them off.

These are the most comfortable dog walking shoes! I wear them with green superfeet and they are magic.

Very cushy underneath. But, because of the large open toe box, my toes move around a bit and touch the hard toe cap. After repeated touching, I start to feel soreness on my toenail beds. Worried that it could be quite uncomfortable on a long hike. (or maybe this city-boy needs to toughen up his feet...) Didn't have this issue with my Brooks Cascadias! Update: I replaced the insoles with green Superfeet. Hiked about 50 miles on the West Coast Trail this summer and they did great! Didn't experience the soreness I had initially!

Great padding for the train. Size was great. The only thing I don’t like is my big toenail sometimes catches between the mesh and front material even with socks and a well trimmed nail.
