Well drop has been delayed and if it's more than 30 days massdrop will let us know? Are you kidding me? 3 weeks since I was charged and now they don't even give a timeframe of when we might get them. I can get the same pair as I ordered here for $2 more and have them in 2 days. How about just a little hint on what the time frame may be for having them in my hands.
ScottfreedomContacted Massdrop about the delay by replying to the delay email. They looked into it and at least for me, item is shipped now and the delay was weather related...hope you've been updated as well and if not contact them via the email they sent...hope this helps
JavaTimeI got the same response. They said I couldn't refund since they'd already shipped. But that was over a week ago and they still aren't here. Not pleased with my first massdrop experience.
@AltraRunner I know I've asked this question before on a previous drop for the Superior 3.5, but because I live in South Korea and returns are pretty much not happening, I am a bit unsure about what size to get. I have a 12.5 in the Superior 2.0, which fits amazing (lots of room up front, but perfect like a sock everywhere else); as you know, the Superior 2.0 ran a bit small. I wear a 12.0 in Nike Terra Kiger 1/2/3/4 and a 12.5 in Nike Wildhorse 1/2/3; I wear a 12.0 in Vans Skate shoes, but 11.5 in Nike Casual/Skate shoes. The problem is that, as you can see, sizes are all over the place because none of the shoes fit the same. I don't expect you to analyze all of these sizes, but in light of these variations, would you suggest just ordering the same (12.5) in the Superior 3.5 as I have in the 2.0? It seems like it might just be best to go with a half size too large than to end up with something slightly small. Anyways, random and complex, but getting Altras in Korea is next to impossible in any large sizes or recent versions of the shoes, so this is the best option at the moment. Cheers, Dean
Yes, size 10 is my normal fitting, the Superiors at 11 are slightly loose, but tight across the top/ front of the ankle, wearing not too thick socks. I don’t use them for running, just general walking/ light hiking. My feet swell, so the 11 should be good. 11 in the Lone Peak 3.0 is perfect for me, they are a great shoe.
Kind of peeved these Altra drops are so close together... I ordered their road running shoes in the last drop but they're not even going to ship for another 2 weeks so I have no idea yet whether I like the brand enough to pick up a trail running pair. Ugh.
JoeweeAltra runs drops frequently on massdrop so don’t worry another Altra shoe will show up again! Whether we have your size or it’s the shoe you’ve been hoping for is another story. I will say that over the last month massdrop hasn’t listed Altras at prices this low in a long time. We are making room for the new Superior 4 that just launched!
Due to a broken hip and femur last year my running days are over, but not my trail walking. I walk canal paths and rail-to-trail. Got myself up to 10+ miles per hike once per week. Would these make a good walking shoe in these conditions?
I'm a size 8.5 D in every shoe I have.
oldnoobDoes your 8.5s leave some extra room or are your toes right at the end of most of your 8.5 shoes? If there’s plenty of space in the shoes you currently wear 8.5 should be fine. If your toes hit the end of your shoe or are close to it then size up a half size
BuysUselessThingsFWIW, I'm a comfortable 10.5 in Superiors, a loose 10 in Lone Peak 3.5s.
I find my Lone Peaks are wider and roomier (too wide and roomy for me). I can snug up the Superiors much easier.
mattdmcconnellFirst time I put on my lone peak 2.5s I was in love. Also made me hate other shoes that don't accommodate the human foot and toes. They may look a little strange (compared to regular shoes anyway) but wow...all shoes should mimic the foot like Altras do! Toes have never been happier.
