I own a version of Altra Escalante in size US9 which fits perfectly, and I own Altra Superior 3.0 in size US9, who feels slightly smaller since they bring some sort of a stiched toe-guard, while the Escalante's upper is very stretchy. On the flats this is fine, however, every time I run down a mountain, I can feel how my toes hit the hard upper a little bit, which isn't the case in Escalante.
Be aware, that Altra Timps use the same performance last shape as Escalantes and Superiors (PFS2-M last). Technically, their foot shape is the same. Just be aware, that Timps also have a bit of rubber arround the toe area. I'd recommend sizing up half a size, if you plan to do mountain running and/or hiking in the timps.
