The Zoned Heat series from Altra helps you stay warm and dry during your run without sacrificing breathability or freedom of movement. Made from the company’s quick-drying, form-fitting ZeroLite fabric, each garment features strategically placed thermal mapping that works with your body heat to bring you warmth where you need it—and no added bulk. Flatlock seams prevent chafing, reflective logos keep you visible, and a pair of pockets (zippered on the jacket, slide style on the tights) give you a place to store your running essentials.
Note: At checkout, choose the Zoned Heat jacket, the Zoned Heat tights (- $15), or both by clicking add another order at the checkout page. The jacket is available in black or blue in men's sizes and black or raspberry in women's sizes, while the tights are available only in black. Both garments come in men’s S–XL and women’s XS–L.
Altra was born in the back room of a Wasatch Mountains running store, where owner Golden Harper met countless runners who complained of knee pain, shin splints, and other injuries from traditional pointed toe boxes and thick, heavy heels. A competitive runner himself, Golden began experimenting with shoe alterations to solve his customers’ problems. By melting the outsoles (in his trusty toaster oven!), he was able to remove the excess heel elevation for a more natural, relaxed foot position. The new platform design was dubbed Zero Drop. These days, in addition to shoes, Altra makes all kinds of running apparel.
