Good looks and premium performance: that’s what you can expect with the Amare Track in your hand. A nearly 9-inch liner lock flipper, the Track is not for the faint of heart. It’s crafted with a stout S35VN blade that’s hardened to 62 on the Rockwell scale for excellent hardness and edge retention. The handle is just as impressive. Made with stainless steel bolsters (anodized for a touch of style) and carbon fiber inserts, it’s home to a Stahl liner lock for sturdy lockup. Steel micro ball bearings support effortless deployment and closure, while a 3D-milled pocket clip provides secure carry on the right side.

Developed by Crucible Industries (one of the leading manufacturers of specialty steels for the cutlery industry) and Chris Reeve (pioneer of the integral frame lock, featured on the Gent Select), S35VN is perhaps the most balanced blade steel ever created in terms of all-around performance. It’s made through a process known as Crucible Powdered Metallurgy, which results in near perfect consistency in the distribution of carbides. Compared to conventional melting practices, the CPM process produces a steel characterized by superior dimensional stability, grindability, and toughness.
