Hey, I realize this is a vendor thing, totally understand that there are many components that are not in your control. However I was just wondering how these orders are placed so that that communication is seemingly so limited between massdrop and the vendor. If you were a retail store who made a very specific order, you simply would drop the supplier for next time. Although I realize nothing is as simple as it may seem.
I really like a lot of the things you've done, and I've supported you through multiple drops, but I would really like to understand this complication so that I don't feel in the dark when my money is gone and I've nearly forgot that I bought something at all. Even if its just a link to an about page that explains whats going on: for example, the timeline of a drop, from voting to the last shipment being shipped. Even just a phase indicator on the drop. I imagine its something like "Voting stage--> Buying stage -> ordering stage --> manufacturing stage -->shipping to mass drop --> processing orders for shipment --> Shipping to me --> Drop complete"
Until your comment today I assumed it was probably in your hands but you just needed to process all the orders, now I have no idea whats going on...
So please just tell us: what's going on?
