Sorry, is this a joke?
And listing a 30 hour battery life with 4 hours of video playback? It's a freaking projector. What does battery life mean if not PROJECTING?
the only difference I see is the 150-100nits brightness... which can be achieved through passing a higher voltage through the same bulb (and may very much reduce the lifespan of said bulb). 150 is still very dim, even by portable projector standards; and when used portable, one often values brightness higher due to the lack of ideally dark rooms when used in a portable/on-the-fly setting. As a friendly neighborhood IT nerd, I don't recommend this product.
polakhomieIt’s supposed to have twice as much storage for downloaded content.
I agree, it’s not powerful enough for a professional or business setting (there are other projectors designed for that). But for more intimate settings like in the home or a travel vehicle, it’s fine. I’m currently using mine in a bedroom and it’s perfectly acceptable for watching YT or streamed content.
I'm not gonna lie, some of the specs are not very impressive, especially at $330 which is more than I spent on my last TV. While I do like the idea of a versatile projector with good speakers, I won't go out of my way to get one of these.
I need one that is packable for a shoulder bag and can project in a well lit room for ppt presentations and not just for casual viewing in a small dim or dark room.
From my experience, the only thing that works is a large heavy full size projector still??
AllentownI have the 100 ANSI Nebula Capsule. For portability these projectors are super cool and convenient. But even at 150 ANSI, it's not powerful enough for a well lit conference room. You definitely need to go bigger.
But for one of our bedrooms that does not have a TV this is really handy. And if you're sick in bed (like I have been this last week) It's neat to project a program on the ceiling and watch it while laying down recovering. Whole lot better than trying to watch something with your neck bent viewing your phone or pad.
Works great over Bluetooth. No lag if you are going directly from a mobile device to the projector. However, I do experience lag when sending the video from your device to the projector AND THEN trying to Bluetooth the audio to headphones after that (say for example if you want to watch something and not disturb others in the room). There is a lag in this configuration. Oddly enough, I get the audio AHEAD of the video when setup this way (you'd think it would be the other way around).
Got a little tripod for it and now I can project content at any angle from the bed or the nightstand.

Since the II isn't technically released yet I guess it's not old but Anker's been teasing it for so long now I feel like this thing is the 'old model' already.
JaysunSo is this the unreleased Capsule II? Due out in June
As I understand it, there has only been one version of the Capsule. Might this listing be for one of Anker's other projectors. I've never seen a Pro Capsule before
Edited: See newer comments above.
I have and still use my Indiegogo model Capsule. The Android implementation is heavily skinned and has some issues with apps (like Hulu is unusable if you have Hulu Live TV) but you can get around that with a Fire Stick. Netflix app is perfectly serviceable as well as Plex. Image quality is surprisingly decent for 480p. I regularly use it at 100+ inches, and provided you have a dark room it looks great. Or good enough at least. I haven’t noticed too many issues connecting my Onkyo receiver to Bluetooth but some people have had complaints with latency. I also haven’t seen a firmware/software update for it for a while now.
