$3K is entering pre-owned Panerai territory. If you are going to spend this kind of money it's better to get a real PAM watch, not the brand that's trying to imitate it.

rumata13There is an actual connection between anonimo and panerai, worth checking

popasI am aware of that connection, but if I was looking to spend $3k on a watch I'd rather get Panerai - pre-owned in great condition or add a bit of money for a new one - over Anonimo.

rumata13A chrono panerai in very good condition starts at over 5k (quick check at chrono24) the difference is not trivial. Anyway, don’t really care either way, won’t buy soon an anonimo or panerai, but if someone likes this one, maybe not a bad idea, don’t think is a bad looking piece.

popasYou are correct, none are listed below $5K at the moment, but PAM chronos are not very popular and with patience can be found for lower price. They are just too busy and take away from the classic simple Panerai looks.

rumata13No to mention that chrono prices aren't a true representation of resale value. Anything can be had way cheaper on forums. 3K wouldn't get you any Panerai in great pre-owned condition. You'll be able to find something which is missing box and/or papers and potentially needing a service.
