I already have a Blue Mic Yeti for my desktop. I've been unplugging and moving the entire unit + cable over to my Home Theater area when I'm playing my PS4 with my other mates. I could always grab a cheap zalman mic, but there is no mute function and I'm so used to push to talk on my PC... can't live without the ability to at least mute. I've tried out the ModMic 2.3 (naming scheme?) before and ended up returning it because the mic wasn't flexible. The 4.0 brings that flexibility back and also has the option to mute. I see the value here, but I just don't know if I should bother shelling out more $ when really all I have to deal with atm is the inconvenience of bending and contorting. If I had a little more cash on hand I'd just insta-buy it. Maybe I'll manage to sell some stuff before the drop ends. Decisions...
