Has anybody tried this on the Phillips Fidelio L1? This looks better than the current mic I've hacked together, but I'm not sure how well the adhesive pad would stick to the grilling.

Tenkoyou won't have any problems. its 3m foam adhesive tape which holds 20lbs per square inch. I have one mounted on my takstar hi2050 with no issues
