Dang it guys, the 4 has a terrible wire. The 5 has both unidirectional and omnidirectional which can be changed between as simple as a switch. The 4 is not worth when the 5 is just a little more at $69

Kite23The version 5 is an improved product, indeed, but... double the price is for you "just a little more"? (37.99 vs 69.95). Also, this drop is for the 4.0 Omnidirectional. The manufacturer's web store has the 4 Unidirectional noise-cancelling model (with and w/o mute). We have plenty of options to choose from.

Kite23Having used ModMics for 6 years now, from Jimmy's 1.0 to the 4.0
I have to say kindly "What are you talking about? The wire on MM's are incredible and made specifically to last through thousands of hours of gaming." which I can promise you, I have tested. So...
Now yes to the 5 being awesome, but it isn't a little bit more. Thank you for expressing your feelings though.

Kite23You'd be surprised at how many people feel the difference in price is a very large number! (Ok maybe not) We try to keep in mind that 20 dollars is a lot to some people and basically nothing to others. Hey, I still remember being a poor grocery bagging guy :D
