HymanNo mark on my ath-msr7 or Sen hd500 after more than a year sticked on them. It is a very good quality 3M sticker. You can even replace the sticker on another pair of hp if you are delicate while removing it.

brucknerThanks, I was more concerned if there would be marks when removing them since I'm going to use it on HD800 and LCD 2. What steps did you use when removing them and did it leave any residue?
HymanGenerally speaking the 3M adhesive is name brand and safe, however we have to give several words of warning, which are on our Terms of Service and support area, but I will break them down in simple terms here.
1) We are not responsible for damage done to your headphones.
2) Don't stick the 3M adhesive to fabric (this is written because someone did... and then blamed us)
3) We have had a few (very few, but even 1 is enough) reports on the 3M adhesive causing damage to varnished wood. As such we don't recommend it.
4) The 3M adhesive has trouble sticking to rubberized surfaces.
However, generally when stuck to non-varnished wood, metal, plastic, or polymers there's no permanent marking.

HymanWhat I was trying to say Hyman was that I was on a position that one year after using this mic on those two headphones, I wanted to remove the two stickers to clear the hp and put one on a new hp. So I did remove two stickers after one year and they left no mark or degradation on the surfaces =)
