Would it look weird if I placed this on the left side instead of the right side? Would the antlion logo be upside down? Is the wire before the mount bendable?

dark_sniperNo, it would not. It is meant to be used either left or right. I do have it on the left side, because that is where the headphones cable is hanging. For the unidirectional version, just take care to point it towards your mouth (there is a mic icon on the tip to help with the orientation and an instructional leaflet).
Now, if you want the antlion logo to be straight, you can screw/unscrew it a little bit, but that is pretty OCD and useless (the mic rotates upwards to get out of your way when you don't use it, so the logo rotates along with it).
The whole wire is bendable. Out of the box, it wouldn't sit right on my headphones (Superlux HD668B), so I've straightened it and re-bended it to have it move freely.
