Just got mine yesterday. It works great with Xbox One using the Y connector into an Xbox chat pad which is a keyboard device that plugs into the controller and becomes part of it. The chat pad has mute mix and volume control. I am using AKG K7XX. It works fine with the chatpad/controller alone. However, I put a Fii0 E12A Monte Blanc headphone amp in between the K7XX and the Y connector. This amp has high and low gain (for IEMs) and bass boost. On high gain with bass boost it drives the AKG's very nicely for video game quality sound and gives it the extra oomph the headphones need. That said, it's a mess of cables. But it works very well. Super happy with this setup.
