AntlionJoeI'll stay tuned for the next opportunity :D
Shipping to Europe is quite expensive when separated, and your products in the shops and amazon located here are extremely costly, despite your official site has very fair prices. It's a game of maths and numbers when buying and shipping from the US :(
CapoFantasma97Totally understand. Careful though about shipping from Massdrop or even our own site. You can sometimes get nailed with big customs and VAT charges :(. Which country are you in?
AntlionJoeItaly. For importing this specific type of goods, we get hit in the wallet with a 20% of VAT on the product's price, but not on the shipping costs. I am very meticolous to check these things and get informed before buying, which allowed me to get some deals that aren't really fair otherwise locally.
Thanks for your care :D
CapoFantasma97Ah Italy is somewhere we don't have a direct partner with (in fact, basically the last major EU country!) so I have no secrets to give as far as websites that can get you our stuff a bit cheaper and faster. Amazon is probably the best bet. I wish I could find a good distribution partner in Italy, but so far no takers. Maybe next year!
CapoFantasma97Oh and that said, I can point you to a third party USB adapter that is available in Italy for like 8 Euros that will do just fine. Same chipset as ours, same general design.
AntlionJoeThat would be great! I guess posting here would be fine, in the case someone is in the same boat. Or if you want to send it privately for whatever reason, my mail is capofantasma97@gmail.com
I'll have to check the price of the shipping for that too, but if the math adds up, that would really make me happy!
AntlionJoeHey, sorry about late reply but I'm researching on getting one of this :).
I read on lower posts (a podcast video?) that apprarently Sabrent USB ones are not recommended anymore for some reason?
What would be the step up? I'm not talking about a 100+ usb dac, but something a little higher quality and fancier than the 6USD sabrent or SYBA, or your very own basic USB adapter. Any recommendations? hopefully something that does 24 bit and a little higher than 44k?
