Does the magnet influence the headphone driver?
I read somewhere post of the guy who damaged his driver by a magnet in the mic...
Can anybody advise?

sebnaThe ModMic does not damage your headphone driver. Simply put, while our magnet is strong enough to hold up most pairs of headphones, it is not strong enough to influence the actual driver of said headphones. In the 6 years we've been around we have zero reports of this.
We also have zero reports of people breaking the mic boom spine (just as a fun side note). Please don't go out of your way to be the first though, haha.

sebnaI was also wondering about this. I didn't have any issues with my closed headphones in the past, but I moved my mic to a pair of open headphones, and found there was more magnetic pull, to the point it could almost stick on without the adhesive, or at least that I didn't have to press as hard on the adhesive bit because it was already being pulled down. Things sounded the same to me as far as I could tell, but I definitely worried about it. Glad to hear it's probably not a problem.
