romaydanYes, where there is a will there is a way. If the stock double sided stick tape doesn't work there are a plethora of options for thicker and tackier adhesives from 3M. I have some stuff that you could almost pull a car out of a ditch with.

romaydanIt works fine with my ath-ad900, so I'd assume the X wouldn't be any different.
