hmmmm I can't get my PC desktop to recognize or connect to the mic...what should i do?

dimaStill didn't appear :/ I feel like it could either be my current soundcard/front panel being a dud or the microphone itself is one

dimanvm, Thanks for the help, I was able to figure out the problem. I had to go to sound manager and re-task some of the ports from speaker to mic-in. :)
