The mic is held on to the headphones with a magnet - so is it possible that the magnet will mess with the magnet of the headphone driver and affect the performance of the headphones??

JayDayIt seems like it uses the adhesive to hold onto the headset and then the magnet to connect the mic to the base. Which i will presume is not a very strong magnet. It could potentially affect sound quality, but in most cases I'm sure it will not be noticeable at all.

emalmudIt's an earth magnet. So it's very strong.
In my 4 years of using their mics, never had an issue with it interfering with the headphones.

Adhesive is what attaches it to the headphones.
Magnet is what lets you adjust, remove the mic.
