Wow! I'm glad to see the ModMic on Massdrop (been using their mics for 5 years now) and even happier to see so many people joining in on this drop! I'm sure you will all love your new ModMics, and you're supporting a good company who makes these in Oregon.
Mordecaithis is quite honestly the best place to sell them. Plenty of people who are PC enthusiasts and have uber expensive cans but no mic to game with. I have a pair of Grados that this would make an excellent mate with, since I already use them as game audio.
DigitalFruitcakeI use my Grados to game also. They are open, and they do lack in a little bass. If you increase the bass in your sound, they will be able to handle it though. They're still pretty great.
DigitalFruitcakeI have the SR 80s. I made a full turn on open-back when a friend of mine forced me to try his. They have great mid fidelity and are surprisingly clear in low and high. Bass is not everything.
