If anyone blames Massdrop for this late shipment one more time, I am going to eat their children. Massdrop can only control the amount of time between the time they receive the bulk shipment and when they ship it them out to individuals. This specific shipment is late because Massdrop hasn't received the bulk shipment of items, so they can't ship it yet.

wes1099but if you are buying the product through mass drop would it not be their responsibility to insure the product is received and distributed according to their scheduled ? im not saying its M.D's fault, but they are they one taking my money so they are also accountable for insuring everything goes smoothly. No different than if you bought a computer into a tech store to get serviced and it got damaged when they sent it out for repairs. You would expect the store you brought it to to take responsibility, regardless of the fact that Purolator may have damaged it, and you would expect them to resolve the issue even though, from what you are arguing, it was out of their hands and technically Purolators fault. Just playin some devils advocate.

AsRiversRunRedWhat you say is true, however say you are a small specialty store that carries a limited stock of a product like say microphones. You decide to put these up for a small sale and expect to sell between 20-50 of these items based on your previous sales in that department. Then the sale goes viral and you have people camping outside your store to buy these and over 900 people want to purchase them. You as a store owner and business person wouldn't want to turn away these guaranteed sales so you offer a rain check service and make a rushed bulk order from your distributors while giving the customers an *estimated* time of arrival based off previous exchanges and shipments from these distributors without knowing exactly what number of the product is in stock for them or when they will be able to ship this larger order.
Just playing the business'y side of it. This is what I would do personally and if the shipment takes longer because of delays in manufacturing or lack of material available the only thing I could do is apologize. Considering that I've already probably taken the money from these rain checks and used it to either purchase the large order or invest it into other stock or departments to grow and strengthen my business so refunding would be damaging to my company or impossible to do.

AsRiversRunRedYou are talking about two different things. Damaged goods is one thing, delays on shipping an item are another. If an item is damaged Mass Drop will take the responsibility and will work out a deal to replace the item with the manufacturer.
Where as the shipping of the product has very little to do with Mass Drop. They list an estimated ship date... well that is just that an estimate. This is all dependent upon multiple factors the main supplier being one cause for the delay. UPS could be another cause. Mass Drop is only responsible for shipping the item out after they receive it. This is their only involvement with the shipping process, receive the goods and push 'em out.
So all in all if the product is damaged sure Mass Drop would be responsible in the situation and support the issue. In the case of shipment delays etc that is out of their hands, until they receive the products. If they were the cause IE the shipment was sent out they received it and then sat on it then yeah blame them but this is not that situation.

AsRiversRunRedI stopped reading after but. What?!?!?!? Did you even read my response? MD has a really good track record for shipping the item out of their warehouse the SAME DAY when they get the stuff. It is not useful to play devil's advocate in this situation because it is indeed out or their hands until they receive it. Don't bite the hand that feeds, as they provide an unparalleled service for the market.
also, damages? what are you smoking dude.... totally off topic of shipping schedule.
Edit: his drops are not hidden, as it would say so. Again, did you even buy into this drop?
