Got mine a few days ago and my machine is not happy at all. ALL games crash randomly (even chrome crashed once!). Reinstalled drivers 4 times so far, tweaked power usage, ran 3DMark over and over (all passed), etc. with no luck. It runs cool, doesnt get close to maxing out power. Currently have it set to max at 80% power (gpu only ever gets up to 68% according to Afterburner and Gigabyte's own management tool), seems to crash a little less frequently this way. Will check for BIOS updates and then install Windows on a separate drive. God I hope I didnt get a dud.
I'm also annoyed that I cant swap out the fan on this thing, It has a weird proprietary cable that connects the pump and fan to the board. Was using a corsair sp120 as an exhaust fan on the H55 that I had attached to my 980ti. It's so dark in my case now :(
Anyone else having problems?

eneroWhat's your specs? If it's crashing less with the power level set to 80% it sounds like it's a PSU issue.

BmxantYeah thats what I thought at first as well, which is why I brought down the power in the first place, but nothing else is effected when the game crashes. I'm running an i7 7700K on a Asus Maximus IX Hero with 16gb of 3466 ram. The PSU is a 650w EVGA Supernova 80+ Gold. Added up with all the drive case fans, lights, usb, etc, my system should only be drawing about 540-ish, max at any given time, so theres plenty of wiggle room for the GPU. I dont have anything overclocked at the moment.
I have since deleted the Aorus control app altogether and brought down both the Core and Memory clock down to -15 with Afterburner, and that seems to have stopped the crashing. Haven't had an issue in Windows 24 hours. MacOS, on the other hand (I dual boot), isnt all that thrilled about the upgrade. But thats to be expected since I dont have a way to control the clocks through MacOS.
It seems to be a good temporary fix until Massdrop sends a replacement, which they say should arrive in the next week or two.

eneroHopefully your power supply is giving it enough juice? When you reinstalled your drivers did you select Advanced and Clean Installation? It wipes your display settings (for me I have to change the resolution for an ancient 1080P TV that doesn't have an option to turn off over-scan) but might fix the problem. I had a similar problem on my 980 Ti after installing the most recent Windows 10 Fall Creators update. I had to run older nVidia drivers (385.41) and do a clean install to get it to work. My new PC with this 1080 Ti is working great! (Old PC is now a great media PC and Plex server in our guest bedroom.) :D

MikeGroovyYeah me too! I guess if the replacement does the same thing then the next thing I have to do it get a bigger one. I figured the card would be fine as it is the same wattage as my 980ti. That card ran like butter. Pretty much plug and play, never had an issue with it (other than running hotter then any of these new fangled 1000 series gpus). And yes, I did a clean install as well as DDU. Nothing changed. I did notice that I was on a higher version before this all started all this. It was the version that was needed to use the Destiny 2 code. But I havent been able to successfully upgrade back up to it. And it's not actually the current version that nvidia's site downloads. Doesnt matter though, I got the same results from all of the drivers from the last few months. I cant remember off hand what version I'm at now, but I did get a notice today about new drivers being available. I think I'll wait until everything settles down before I update.
I did the same thing with my old i5 4670k. Got a tiny ITX mobo, a small PSU, and now its sitting under my TV with a bunch of drives attached to it. Which replaced my elderly Mac Mini Plex server. Man I love Plex!

eneroCould you test with a different psu, usually manufacturers rate their powersupplys at what ingoing wattage they can handle. to find out what capabilities your psu actually handles: 80% of 650w = 520w. And this is prob combined on the 3.3v lines, 5v lines and the 12v lines. Usually the efficiency drops at max load

SchnandriVery interesting, all be it annoying (on the manufacturers part), info.... I have since my first post on this brought my power back up to 100%. No crashes, I have to have the Core and Memory clock at -15. Anything more and its just a bummer. My plan is to wait until I get the replacement GPU to see whats going on. I really dont want to buy another PSU if I dont have to. This one is only 6 months old. But I will if I have to.

eneroJust an update to this thread, now that I've installed the replacement GPU.

So the first one was a lemon. This one was plug and play. No issues at all. I have Afterburner set everything back to default (100% everything) and it's like butter! Fan also seems to run slower and quieter. No game crashes and its only ever gotten up to around 50c.
I did notice on the first one, that there is some thermal paste bleeding through around the copper plate on the top plate. I saw it when I first installed it but the bleeding seems to have spread a bit more. I guess there was just too much thermal paste in there. Though I didn't notice any heat issues. The replacement, btw, didn't have any bleeding around the copper plate. Whatevs. The replacement is rocking my world :D
